WCT West Coast Training Ltd. is a leading training company concentrating on the property and casualty insurance brokerage industry. Our President has over 30 years experience in the property and casualty insurance industry including 20 years as a full time trainer, providing licensing and designation training for insurance agents and brokers. Fundamentals of Insurance Licensing Classes and CAIB Preparation Immersion Classes

are conducted and taught by Todd Hochban, these immersion courses held at BCIT have been instrumental in helping hundreds of BC brokers to successfully write the Fundamentals of Insurance examination and CAIB national examinations.

Fundamentals of Insurance Licensing Classes registration ($380.80) without examination but includes:

Students who are unsuccessful in the examination are invited back to the next scheduled Fundamentals of Insurance Preparation course at no charge but exam fee is still applicable.
Our 5 day immersion course has 80% - 85% pass ratio
Students enjoy professional, dynamic instruction

All study materials including textbook

Todd began his insurance career in 1977. He has been an insurance broker, commercial lines underwriter/field representative and an Education Director for a provincial insurance brokers’ association in western Canada. Todd has completed the insurance institute associate designation program and the CAIB designation program with honours.

Nancy began her business career in 1975 with a major life insurance company and then went on to the mortgage insurance industry. Nancy has also owned and managed several successful businesses in the retail and contracting industries. Using her focus on customer service and attention to detail Nancy brings with her a solid business background.
